Description

Live In Yoyogi, Japan 1985.

Return To Happiness: Jazz At The Philharmonic, Yoyogi National Stadium, Tokyo, 1983. Открывайте новую музыку каждый день.

We Are the Champions: Final Live in Japan is a live concert video of English rock band Queen's performance at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo on 11 May 1985 as part of the Japanese leg of The Works Tour. The film's title is slightly inaccurate, as Queen actually performed two more shows in Japan (in Nagoya on 13 May, and in Osaka on the 15th). The 90-minute film is not the full concert, leaving out Brian May's guitar solo and Dragon Attack. Only officially released in Japan, it first appeared as a video release in 1992, then as a laserdisc and VHS release, before a DVD release in 2004 with new artwork.

Reissued in Japan in 2004 on DVD with new artwork Also reissued in Japan in 2006 on DVD, with different artwork again, re-titled 'Queen Live In Japan 1985'. Running time 90 minutes approx. Recorded at the Yogishi Auditorium, Tokyo, Japan, 11 May 1985. This is an almost complete concert, it only omits an improvisation, Brighton Rock, and Guitar Solo. As a result the video (and audio) fade out at the end of 'Love Of My Life', then back in again for 'Another One Bites The Dust'.

Queen's last Japan performance recorded May 11, 1985 at the National Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo, Japan. Until this abomination, Queen had been releasing live and documentary blu-rays that ranged from very good to a " must-have; " Neither is the case here, and I would go so far as to say the band did not sanction this nor have any involvement in it's shoddy production and release.

I have the CD. I bought here on my country, Brazil, Where it was sold as a official Queen product in a CD store. The tracklist of the CD is different. Love of My Life' is 'Love Is My Life' on the CD cover.

New National Stadium (新国立競技場 Shin kokuritsu kyōgijō) is a multi-purpose stadium under construction in Kasumigaoka, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Demolition of old National Stadium was completed in May 2015, then the construction of new stadium began at the same site on 11 December 2016.
