Digital Mystikz are a dubstep production duo (consisting of Mala and Coki – when the two started making music together as teenagers they were known as Malibu and Coke) from the South London suburb of Norwood. Along with Loefah and SGT Pokes, who make up the group ASBO (All Soundbwoy Out), they operate the DMZ record label and host the influential bimonthly nightclub DMZ, held at the Mass club complex in Brixton, London.

Lucifer, Ruff Lovin'. Main genre: Electronic, Dance.

Some heavy white label action from Coki and an unknown accomplice as they try their devious hands at Max Romeo's eponymous 'I Chase the Devil' sample, worked together with some particularly shrieking and screeching synth-work. B-side 'Ruff Lovin' tackles another well loved vocal, loosely layering it over some shuffling rhythms, this time from the delectable Minnie Ripperton and 'Loving You'.

Although they would develop a more prog-influenced style, this debut album finds Lucifer's Friend living up to their sinister name by performing heavy, keyboard-textured rock in the vein of Deep Purple or Uriah Heep. It gets off to a thunderous start with "Ride the Sky," a punchy rocker built on a rumbling, guitar-fuelled melody reminiscent of "The Immigrant Song" by Led Zeppelin.

There's only 500 copies which makes the price pretty fair man. Rarer than a michael Jackson Vinyl...

theres thousands of 500 only releases, especialy in dubstep, jungle n dnb, i have a fair few myself, but people keep putting the prices up & up & up, so they see this n think "ah only 500 copies i can put it as high as i want" when its not worth anywhere near that
