RIP Peter Shelly - a fine songwriter from a bygone age when the melody really mattered. John McLoughlin 3 months ago. +Northern Soul yes the two solo singles were released under the name Peter Shelly but it looks like he shortened his name to Pete Shelly. Oddly most obituaries only mentioned those Buzzcocks years. He also wrote songs for Alvin Stardust. Northern Soul 3 months ago. Wasn't that Peter Shelley from the Buzzcocks? christine fawcett 4 months ago. ♥ ♥ ♥.

Pete Shelley (born Peter Campbell McNeish; 17 April 1955 – 6 December 2018) was an English singer, songwriter and guitarist.
