Mantas' debut album was a commercial and creative disaster of such unmitigated proportions that it's a wonder even a label as blindly un-self-critical as Neat Records would see fit to let them back into the studio. But that they did, and the resulting Deceiver EP - though marginally better than the above-mentioned LP - served only to nail the band's coffin shut for the good of all mankind.
