When the sky was gold And I needed no protection But as the wind would blow A thousand miles in no direction Man, it was a beautiful sight Days were soaked in sunlight Just so long ago But lately I like to imagine

Blowin' in the Wind" is a song written by Bob Dylan in 1962 and released as a single and on his album The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan in 1963. Although it has been described as a protest song, it poses a series of rhetorical questions about peace, war, and freedom. The refrain "The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind" has been described as "impenetrably ambiguous: either the answer is so obvious it is right in your face, or the answer is as intangible as the wind".

When I was young, we always had to do without a lot of things that other kids ha. e lived with on my dad’s wage, which wasn’t much, but we managed to get b. f we needed anything, we would save up for it, but there was never very much for luxuries

You can find the song if you only know parts of the song's lyrics. Ok I'm looking for this song. I remember hearing it when I was younger (sansa clip era). I don't remember any of the lyrics except for the lead vocalist just belting out "Baby Blue" at the end of the song. It's a rock song, I know that much. But it isn't by Badfinger (I've checked).

Yesterday when I was young So many happy songs were waiting to be sung, So many wild pleasures lay in store for me And so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to see. I ran so fast that time and youth at last ran out, I never stopped to think what life was all about And every conversation I can now recall Concerned itself with me and nothing else at all. -- Instrumental --. Yesterday the moon was blue And every crazy day brought something new to do. I used my magic age as if it were a wand And never saw the waste and emptiness beyond.

Yesterday when I was young. Seems the love I've known. Has always been the most destructive kind. Guess that's why now. I feel so old before my time. Yesterday when I was young. The taste of life was sweet as rain upon my tongue. I teased at life as if it were a foolish game. The way the evening breeze may tease a candle flame. The thousand dreams I dreamed. The splendid things I planned. So many happy songs were waiting to be sung. So many wild pleasures lay in store for me. And so much pain my dazzled eyes refused to see. I ran so fast that time and youth at last ran out. I never stopped to think what life was all about. And every conversation I can now recall. Concerned itself with me and nothing else at all. Yesterday the moon was blue. And every crazy day brought something new to do. I used my magic age as if it were a wan.
