King Gizzard's third album ends up being their best release so far. I love pretty much everything on here, and I would go as far as to say that most of the tracks on here are my favourite King Gizzard song out of the records that I've heard so far. In particular, Head On/Pill completely blew me away with how great it was. This is definitely an album that I can see myself coming back to a lot. However, I do feel like the ending was a bit underwhelming. The last two tracks in particular didn't. Although, King Gizzard and his friends take many clichés of psychedelic rock (such as long tracks, endless guitar solos, vocals below the mix and the unconventional use of a sitar), they do it majestically, reminding us that we shouldn't forget certain musical roots.
