Music video by Eric Church performing The Outsiders. C) 2013 EMI Records Nashville.
The Outsiders is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Eric Church. It was released on February 11, 2014, via EMI Nashville. Like all of his previous albums, it is produced by Jay Joyce. It was before the release that Church received media attention for saying "I think genres are dead . And I think the cool thing about Nashville is it is at the epicenter of that kind of thinking. I'm a country music artist in Nashville, but Nashville is way, way, way bigger than country music. After the release of the album, Church urged fans not to shuffle the song list on their playlists, saying "Anybody puts it on shuffle, I ll come kill them myself. It’s made to be listened to start to finish. You start with 'The Outsiders,' you end with 'The Joint.
Eric Church's "The Outsiders" easily debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 288,000 in its first week (ending Feb. 16), according to Nielsen SoundScan. It's the largest sales week of the year, and the biggest since Beyonce's self-titled album sold 310,000 in its second week of release (last December). It's also by far Church's best frame ever. The Outsiders" is Church's fourth studio album and second No. 1 set, following his last studio effort, 2011's "Chief. The latter bowed with 145,000-his previous best sales week
The Outsiders is the fourth studio album by American country music artist Eric Church. Two singles were released prior to the album's release: the title track and "Give Me Back My Hometown"

It was released in October 2013 as the first single and title track from his 2014 album of the same name. Church wrote this song with Casey Beathard. Church told Taste of Country that It’s a bit of a statement. I wanted to send a message with this album that it’s gonna be different, it’s gonna be another level". He also described it as a mix of Waylon Jennings and Metallica.
The Outsiders Album Lyrics by Eric Church. The Outsiders Lyrics. Lyrics to the Full Album on one page). A Man Who Was Gonna Die Young. That's who we are That's how we roll The Outsiders, The Outsiders. Our women get hot, and our leather gets stained When we saddle up and ride 'em in the pouring rain We're the junkyard dogs, we're the alley cats Keep the wind at our front, and the hell at our back. That's who we are We do our talking, walk that walk Wide open rocking That's how we roll. Our backs to the wall A band of brothers Together, alone, the Outsiders We're the riders, we're the ones burning rubber off our tires
This love song - the hottest Church has ever cut - leans on a thin electric guitar and Hammond B3 organ. The Outsiders' is the most personal and angriest of Church's four studio albums. After the title track, the singer's snarl manifests during much of the last half of the album. There's 'Dark Side,' a raw threat to anyone thinking about messing with Church's family.
A very enjoyable album! Eric Church has a really honest and sensitive voice in his songs! "The Outsiders" of course has some weak moments but not many albums are perfect and thats ok! You can find the strong songs easier. A beautiful contry-pop album that make Eric CHurch sounds like a BADASS from SOA! 5y. snarekickblues. 11.
