Nashville Pussy is an American rock & roll band from Atlanta, Georgia. Their musical style has been variously described as psychobilly, Southern rock, hard rock and cowpunk, as well as "sleaze rock". The band's lyrical themes mostly revolve around sex, drugs, drinking, fighting, and rock 'n' roll  . Original bassist Corey Parks (sister of former NBA basketball player Cherokee Parks) quit one month after the release of the album High as Hell, and later joined Die Hunns. Tracy Kickass formerly of NYC's the Wives, and Helldorado was enlisted to replace Parks mid-tour. Nashville Pussy recorded Say Something Nasty with Almazan on bass only to be replaced by Katielyn Campbell (of the band Famous Monsters).

They got enough exposure and sales with their debut Let them Eat Pussy to be briefly signed to Mercury Records just before the Universal-Polygram merger that led to the mega-major jettisoning of any "marginal" act like the quartet. Nashville Pussy landed on their feet, signing to TVT and cutting their second album, High As Hell, with Fastback's Kurt Bloch.

High as Hell", Nashville Pussy's second full-length release, flips the bird defiantly in the face of the sophomore slump. Somehow this band has outdone "Let Them Eat Pussy", one of the most aggressively butt-kicking discs in recent memory (and still my vote-getter for best album title of all time). Struttin' Cock', the searing opener, makes the agenda abundantly clear: "No more thinking!. Like their idols Motorhead, Nashville Pussy is in relentless pursuit of reckless abandon. Their brand of sleazy barroom rock centers exclusively on an -break-loose ethos. Who could blame them for helping jumpstart the ruckus?
