Elisir is the ninth studio album by Italian singer-songwriter Alice, released in late 1987 on EMI Music. The album was recorded after the 1986/1987 European Park Hotel concert tour and includes new interpretations of six songs from the singer's earlier repertoire as performed on the tour, as well as the previously unreleased "Nuvole" ("Clouds") and a cover version of John Lennon and Paul McCartney's "The Fool on the Hill", released as the album's lead single

Alice cooper killer great Album. One of the greatest rock albums of all time! It deserves all the praise its ever gotten plus a lot more. This was the album that made the Alice Cooper band a major act. I love the diversity of the material and Dennis Dunaway shows that he may be the most underrated bassist in Rock! Alice's vocals never sounded better or more menacing. A great album, covers many styles. The first real "tip of the hat" to theatrical music to be incorporated in later albums (West Side Story references, et. School's Out" is the obvious classic, but the whole album hangs together well when listened to as a whole piece. Do yourself a favour and give it a few listens
