Gone Astray ‎(CD, Album, Car). The cover is strange, the whole album sounds a bit too acid and filled with strange expressions, some are strong other are not enough convincing, Troy Pierce sounds better as Louderbach, despite some of this release weakness i find it satisfying its dark expression.

Gone Astray’ might be Troy Pierce’s most ambitious and experimental work to date. Gone Astray’ is not easy listening or easily digestible, but Troy Pierce is not a man who goes for the tried and true. I’ve listened to it back to front more than a few times now and still can’t make up my mind how I feel. Bits and pieces could be useful, but you'll need to be in the right mood to take it in in one sitting - its heaviness will weigh down and exhaust you. This record is far more an artistic experiment than dancefloor fodder, although a few of the tracks would work quite well in more open-minded dark and messy after-hours environments.
