Steeleye Span : Time,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен.

Time is an album by Steeleye Span. The album was released in 1996, after a seven-year hiatus, and was their first on the Park Records label. The impetus for the album was a 25th anniversary reunion tour the year before, during which most of the former members of the band performed together. Maddy Prior was experiencing voice problems so she spoke to Gay Woods, a founding member who had left the band after the first album, to rejoin.

Time is a music studio album recording by STEELEYE SPAN (Prog Related/Progressive Rock) released in 1996 on cd, lp, vinyl and/or cassette. With a strong sense of direction, passionate interpretations and no fillers, this an album that showed Steeleye Span could still deliver an album as convincing and consistent as the ones it released during its heydey. I sincerely agree with Tarcisio that this was a strong comeback album from STEELEYE SPAN

If an album can be rated "perfect," this would be it. This is Steeleye Span at their best. Both Gay Woods and Maddy Prior are featured. A folk rock group from the . they still remain popular today while their membership has varied over the years. Beginning with the rousing "Prickleye Bush" it carries through to to a song about the elf knight, on to the beautiful "Wind That Shakes the Barley, " ending with the haunting "The Song Will Remain. This is an album I never tire of. Steeleye Span's harmonies are unmatched

It also claims that all tracks were from this group and doesn't acknowledge the members' solo and duo tracks. Note: On all LPs shown here, False Knight on the Road is Tim Hart and Maddy Prior's version from Summer Solstice. But even if the sleeve notes of Edsel's CD reissue of Individually and Collectively claim to have this track too, it actually contains Steeleye Span's version from Please to See the King with Martin Carthy singing
