The Kingsmen Volume II. Studio album by. The Kingsmen. The Kingsmen Volume II is the second album by the rock band The Kingsmen, released in 1964. 1 Release and reception. Album – Album, is a collection of audio recordings issued as a single item on CD, record, audio tape, or another medium. Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century, first as books of individual 78rpm records, vinyl LPs are still issued, though in the 21st century album sales have mostly focused on compact disc and MP3 formats. The audio cassette was a format used from the late 1970s through to the 1990s alongside vinyl, an album may be recorded in a recording studio, in a concert venue, at home, in the field, or a mix of places.

The Kingsmen in Person is the first album by the rock band The Kingsmen, released in 1963. The album featured "Louie Louie", the band's biggest success. Jack Ely, the singer of "Louie Louie", appeared on no other track on the album because he quit before it was recorded. The Kingsmen recorded "Louie Louie" at Northwestern Inc. recording studio on April 6, 1963.

The Kingsmen Volume 3 is the third album by the rock band the Kingsmen, released in 1965. The Kingsmen Volume 3. The Kingsmen's third album featured "The Jolly Green Giant", a novelty number which reached on the Billboard Hot 100 pop chart and on the Billboard R&B chart, along with several other R&B classics and a couple of Wailers covers. As with previous albums, crowd noise overdubs were added on some tracks to simulate a live performance. The album sold well due to the success of "The Jolly Green Giant", the group's frenetic touring schedule, and the ongoing controversy over the lyrics of "Louie Louie"

The album title is "Volume II" on the front of the LP jacket and "Volume 2" on the back and on both record labels. Initial pressings of the album had "And You Believed Him" as the last track, but "Death Of An Angel" was substituted mid-production along with a yellow sticker at the bottom of the LP jacket proclaiming "Featuring Death Of An Angel. Later pressings had the revised track list on the cover. The LP was released in both mono (WDM 659) and stereo (WDS 659) versions
