Artist: Haroula Rose. she settled in Los Angeles and embarked on a career as a folk singer/songwriter. She self-released her debut EP, Someday, on June 24, 2009. Her full-length debut album, These Open Roads, followed in 2011. The So Easy EP was released in 2012 but it would be another 4 years before releasing Here the Blue River in 2016.
Haroula Rose generated a buzz in 2011 with her acoustic guitar-based debut album These Open Roads which included the songs "Duluth" and "The Leaving Song. She's blossomed even more on her sophomore release Here the Blue River, and added a deeply moving, ambient sound to songs that explore the ebb and flow of life. I was definitely interested in hearing more unique sounds, a more developed sound overall, and feeling like it's an evolution from the prior record," she revealed.
