Anthology is a compilation album by country pop singer Juice Newton. It was originally released by Renaissance Records on October 13, 1998. The album covers her career from 1975 to 1989 and features 19 songs taken from her albums Juice Newton & Silver Spur, Juice, Quiet Lies, Can't Wait All Night, Old Flame, Emotion, and Ain't Gonna Cry. However, it includes the 1975 take of "The Sweetest Thing (I've Ever Known)" from the first RCA album, not the 1981 hit version from Juice.

She managed to mix folk, rock, blues and pop into a hugely successful career in country music. To date she has sold over 10 million albums, managed 19 hit singles across the US country, pop and adult contemporary charts. She has also won 2 Billboard Awards, 1 Grammy and the CMA Award for Best New Female Artist. Shortly after high school, Juice and her band Silver Spur were signed to RCA Records.

Out of all of Juice Newton's albums, Old Flame has the strongest country roots and influences. Newton is still equally informed by rock and pop - after all, she doesn't sing hardcore honky tonk on the album, she sings somewhat roots country pop. However, Old Flame proves that she can perform this material with conviction. Most of the production on the record is too slick and indicative of its time, but the singles - as well as Newton's singing - remain effective.
