Acoustic Guitar, Co-producer, Harmonica, Vocals – Carla Olson (tracks: 1 to 11), Gene Clark (tracks: 1 to 11). Banjo – Randy Fuller (2) (tracks: 1 to 11). Bass – Joe Read (tracks: 13 to 16), Roscoe Beck (tracks: 1 to 11).

Originally released in 1987, So Rebellious a Lover proclaimed the return of one of modern music's most underrated artists. Clark had been a formidable member of The Byrds, writing several of their best tunes, before walking away due to a fear of flying. He continued to sporadically release solo material that has been rediscovered in the ensuing decades.

This reissue contains six bonus tracks in addition to the original album. The duo's brilliant cover of Phil Ochs' "Changes," which originally appeared on the tribute album True Voices, is a standout. There are four demo recordings of Clark with Olson's band the Textones, which were used to try to secure another deal, and "Broken Hearts and Broken Dreams," originally issued as a bonus track on Olson's debut album in Europe

Album So Rebellious a Lover. Are We Still Making Love Lyrics. Are we still making love Or is it just part of the game? Have we both had enough Of life being the same? Are we still making love? It's so hard to say no And though things might be rough Maybe it's time to let go. Our life's come full circle now again We lived life so fast we thought it couldn't end And though we hurt each other so All we had to know Was how our heartaches began. So Rebellious a Lover Gene Clark & Carla Olson. 6. Fair & Tender Ladies.

This song is by Gene Clark and Carla Olson and appears on the album So Rebellious A Lover (1987). Green leaves of summer turn red in the fallTo brown and to yellow they fadeAnd then they have to die, trapped withinThe circle time parade of changes.
