Description

The Bible - Graceland.

Graceland" is the title song of the album Graceland, released in 1986 by Paul Simon. The song features vocals by The Everly Brothers. The lyrics deal with the singer's thoughts during a road trip to Graceland after the failure of his marriage. Actress and author Carrie Fisher, Simon's ex-wife, said that the song referred in part to their relationship. The song won the 1988 Grammy Award for Record of the Year.

Countdown to zero, to zero I am listening Through the walls, not at all What I thought I was missing. In my case there is something in the will to escape life at last As we ride into the sun safe we burst into flames I don't know, I don't know how you missed us Rolling by, rolling by like the three ghosts of Christmas In my life this will happen to a boy every time, the perfect crime Which as. everybody knows pays just fine. So pay my way into Graceland To Graceland Pay my way into Graceland We're even, we're even.

Talk:Graceland (album). To cite Los Lobos as the only controversy is rather shallow and insensitive to some of the larger social issues surrounding the album. I am too biased to write about this particular topic, but I think that the various stances toward the album from the ANC historical standpoint should be included in this particular article. 2 (talk) 16:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC).
