Godsmack is the debut album by the band Godsmack. The album was initially paid for by the band and released as All Wound Up, before the band was signed to Universal Records and Republic Records. It was mastered at Sterling Sound in New York City. It differs from All Wound Up by splitting the song Get Up, Get Out! into two tracks (the intro portion being re-titled Someone in London, while the song Goin' Down was removed.

The Other Side is an acoustic EP by the band Godsmack, released on March 16, 2004. It includes several previously released songs re-recorded as acoustic versions, as well as three new acoustic tracks The song "Asleep" is actually an acoustic, shorter and calme.

IV is the fourth studio album by the band Godsmack, released on April 25, 2006. This is Godsmack's only studio album produced by Andy Johns. According to Sully Erna: "This is the first time I’ve been totally honest, speaking the truth about real situations," he says. In the past I was always pointing a finger, whether at myself or someone else, but I’ve come clean with myself and the people I can now love and care about.

Godsmack has sold over 10 million albums in the United States with an additional two million worldwide, including over 2 million singles sales worldwide. The band has had two number one albums (Faceless and IV) on the Billboard 200. They have had a record-breaking fifteen top ten mainstream rock singles, a debut album selling over five million copies in just two years and have also been nominated for three Grammy Awards. Its this album that more of the Alternative Metal side is shining through. Which is good! Because although not my favourite type of metal (that'd have to be thrash) its not one i dislike. Again i dont see the Nu Metal side of Godsmack in this album, its pretty much non-existent and if there was a form of it it'd be in the debut.
