Not All Who Wander Are Lost is the third solo album by American virtuoso mandolinist Chris Thile. It was released on Sugar Hill in 2001. The record builds on his previous work in that it is largely bluegrass and newgrass inspired. Although Not All Who Wander Are Lost was Thile's third solo album, it is widely considered his first major one, primarily based on the fact that Nickel Creek's initial success came in 2000 with their platinum debut album.
The breezy "Song for a Young Queen" is a joyful opener, laying the groundwork for 60 minutes of innovative acoustic picking. Bach meets Earl Scruggs on the sprightly "Riddles in the Dark," a duo with Bela Fleck featuring a complex intermingling of banjo and mandolin.

Album (Studio full-length). All that's left is, now to nowhere I believe do anything at all costs You must believe Not all who wander are lost. Tied to the tree of woe, so woe to you In front of the man with the dead eyes With a choir of faith there's still hell to pay Not enough hours in the day Hell of patience to be paid So who's left to wonder? In the wake of destruction, get made. All of your hopes and dreams - never meant shit! All that's left is, now to nowhere!
Prophet Velen in WoW says exactly that though. Not all who wander are lost". To make literal sense, the line should be "Not all that is gold glitters," which means that some gold glitters, but not all gold glitters. That's what the poem was trying to refer to: that the gold of the throne of Gondor lies hidden in the humble, not-glittery ranger named Strider. Some gold glitters, but not this gold. As you've pointed out with OP's quote, though, changing the grammar "really fucks up the meter of the poem," so Tolkien chose poetry over grammar.
