The All-University Jazz Ensemble was initially started to provide Music Education students the opportunity to perform music written specifically for the Big Band but also to learn how to organize, rehearse, and develop their own Big Bands once they themselves are music teachers. The ensemble is not strictly limited to Music Education majors, but its primary membership and focus is for music educators. Current membership includes students from all parts of the department and University, including performance and composition majors. Audition Information.
