Ritual is the 13th studio album by the German Neue Deutsche Härte band Oomph!. The band had earlier said they expected the album to release on 18 January 2019.

Blood Ritual is the second album by the Swiss heavy metal band Samael, released in 1992 on the Century Media Records label. When Samael's one-album-only contract with Osmose Productions expired the group signed with Century Media which, in the words of vocalist/guitarist Vorphalack, offered them a "rather interesting" deal. The long time between Worship Him and Blood Ritual, explains Vorphalack, was due to negotiations between them and the label.

In the months leading up to its release, Soulfly frontman Max Cavalera regularly told fans that the band’s 11th album would be a tribal thrash LP, and one that both he and producer Josh Wilbur hoped would recapture the world music-inspired undercurrent of the groove metal icons’ lauded 1998 eponymous debut.

Putting aside the aforementioned exceptions and the quirky jazz ballad instrumental that closes this album out in Soulfly XI (complete with a saxophone no less), this album bashes one’s neck in with the same degree of fast paced intensity as the one-off Nailbomb album Point Blank.

Ritual�s debut album is a really excellent album. First of all I would like to point out that Ritual have that special Swedish thing for melodies. Their music is just so beautifully melodic and memorable even though it is pretty intricate. I�ve heard about Ritual before but always assumed they were a metal band with that name and never gave them a chance.
