Svidd neger (subtitled Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is an original soundtrack album by Norwegian experimental musicial group Ulver. The soundtrack was commissioned by Filmfalken AS. from Ambassaden, Oslo, and Norsk Film, Bærum, Norway, recorded between September 2002 and April 2003. The album was issued by Jester Records on September 15, 2003. The music is more elaborate than the abstract minimalism of Lyckantropen Themes

Svidd neger (subtitled Original Motion Picture Soundtrack ) is an original soundtrack album by Norwegian experimental collective Ulver. The music is more elaborate than the abstract minimalism of Lyckantropen Themes. Crafted as the soundtrack to the Norwegian film of the same name, Svidd Neger is ultimately nothing more than that. The movie is filled with racial epithets, axe-murders, alcoholic servants of god and some hardcore farming action, it's quite surprising to say that the soundtrack is absolutely beautiful.

This album is another soundtrack done by Ulver. Unlike Lyckantropen, it has a lot more variation and dark soundscapes, containing lonely piano melodies and ethereal strings. I'd compare it more to Silencing the Singing or even Perdition City more than Lyckantropen, but it still very much has its own new sound, because Ulver isn't going to make two albums too similar. Every track flows right into the next, giving the album a total ecliptic, solid feel, as if it was just one song. It is only about 35 minutes long, and with 16 tracks, most of them are very short
