Klark Kent is the debut solo album of Stewart Copeland, and the first solo album recorded by any band member of The Police. The album was released in 1980 as a 10 inch EP on green vinyl. It was later re-released on black vinyl as a 12 inch with a grey and black sleeve. It includes the song "Don't Care", which had entered the UK Top 50 two years earlier

On the Corner is a studio album by American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer Miles Davis. It was recorded in June and July 1972 and released on October 11 of the same year by Columbia Records. The album continued Davis's exploration of jazz fusion, bringing together funk rhythms with the influence of experimental composer Karlheinz Stockhausen and free jazz saxophonist Ornette Coleman.

The work of Klark Kent almost inevitably brings up a question: Is the world really ready for a record that combined the musical sensibilities of the Police and the lyrical concerns of Weird Al Yankovic? Former Police drummer Stewart Copeland claims to play all the instruments on this set of bouncy, quirky pop songs, and there is a distinct sonic resemblance to his old band.

I never realized this, Gettin Busy is a favourite of mine since it came out and I picked up the ESP album a few years back and never clicked it was the same MCs!
