Black Beauty: Miles Davis at Fillmore West is a live double album by American jazz trumpeter, composer, and bandleader Miles Davis. It was recorded on April 10, 1970, at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, shortly after the release of the trumpeter's Bitches Brew album and the recording of Jack Johnson (1971). Black Beauty was produced by Teo Macero, Davis' longtime record producer.

Until now, the official recordings of Miles Davis' performances at the Fillmore East between June 17 and 20, 1970 have been limited to the double album Miles at the Fillmore. This four-disc set contains all four concerts. Check the sinister vamping and spooky soloing on "Miles Runs the Voodoo Down" from the Fillmore West. Corea is alternately knotty and atmospheric. He can push the horns hard -as on Thursday's "Directions" - or paint through Jarrett's wah-wah organ with an expressionist brush - evidenced by Saturday's "Willie Nelson. There are 100 minutes of previously unreleased music from Wednesday through Saturday; an additional 35 minutes of unreleased music comes from a previous gig at the Fillmore West.
The recording of this concert, not released until 1973 and only in Japan, took place on April 10, 1970 at the Carousel Ballroom, where Bill Graham, the legendary west coast impresario of psychedelic rock, had moved his Fillmore Auditorium in 1968.

Fillmore West 1969 is a three-CD album composed of selections from four concerts by the Grateful Dead. These concerts, performed on four consecutive nights from February 27 through March 2, 1969, were the basis for Live/Dead (rock's first 16-track live album, released in November 1969).
