Lovelife is the fourth and final studio album by English alternative rock band Lush. On this album, the band moved away from their earlier dream pop and shoegazing style and embraced a more Britpop-oriented sound. The album was produced by Pete Bartlett and the band at Protocol Studios in London, and engineered by Giles Hall. On release, Lovelife reached No. 8 on the UK Albums Chart. Jarvis Cocker of Pulp dueted with Lush vocalist Miki Berenyi on the song "Ciao!".

Lush approached Bob Mould to produce their second album. She stated she could not make another Lovelife but would rather make a smaller, more personal album
