Then, ‘Lonely Hearts Club’, that’s a good one. There’s lot of those about, the equivalent of a dating agency now. I just strung those together rather in the way that you might string together Dr Hook and the Medicine Show. All that culture of the sixties going back to those travelling medicine men, Gypsies, it echoed back to the previous century really. I just fantasised, well, ‘Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. That’d be crazy enough because why would a Lonely Hearts Club have a band? If it had been Sergeant Pepper’s British Legion Band, that’s more understandable

uDiscover presents a who’s who guide to all 58 of the famous icons on The Beatles’ groundbreaking album cover for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. Published on. May 23, 2019. The concept was for the four Beatles themselves to appear in costume as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, surrounded by a gathering of influential people as if they had just performed a concert. A total of 58 different people are depicted on the final artwork. Those chosen from a collective list drawn up by John, Paul, George, Peter Blake, Jann Haworth and London art dealer Robert Fraser.

Released on 1st June, 1967, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the band's eighth album became the soundtrack to the "summer of love" but its appeal is timeless. Work had begun on the recording in late 1966 and at one stage it was thought that both Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields Forever would also be included but when these were released as a single in February, that idea was abandoned. Revolver had only just been completed in time prior to the band flying off on yet another tour. The Beatles' next LP, which has already taken over seven months to record is at last nearing completion. Titled 'Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' it will be finished during the second week of April. Among tracks now completed are 'A Day In The Life', a John Lennon solo on which he is backed by a 41-piece orchestra. When I'm 64' a novelty number in early phonographic style featuring Paul McCartney.

Does it have the famous Inner Groove in the runout groove 9side 2)?

I have this picture disc and Paralophone is misspelled as Poralophone. Also, EMI is spelled as IME. Both logos made to look like the real ones. But the alternate versions make it a keeper.
