Zanstones play live "city-specific" concerts where all the recordings for the show are gathered in the day of the show in the city being played. Zanstones have played live in Chicago, Washington . Copenhagen, as well as in Holland, Belgium and extensively through Spain. Zanstones is the longest standing project at the ZH27 label. Started my Zan Hoffman in 1983, the 1st release "the Subtle Art of Puddle Pushing" came out in 1984.

Coltrane is a 1962 studio album by jazz saxophonist John Coltrane. When reissued on CD, it featured a Coltrane composition dedicated to his hero "Big Nick" Nicholas which Coltrane would record later the same year with his Ellington collaboration Duke Ellington & John Coltrane. The composition "Tunji" was written by Coltrane in dedication to the Nigerian drummer, Babatunde Olatunji.
