For many anxious fans, this piece of news must be a significant milestone that will instantly put a smile on their faces. He is a highly-regarded producer for his astonishing collaborations with Prurient, Nothing or The Haxan Cloak, as well as his audio restoration works for Coum Transmissions and Shizuka.

With only a series of limited tape and split releases, fans have been waiting with bated breath for a true follow up album. The first full-length Alberich album in almost a decade, Quantized Angel will be released April 12, 2019. In the intervening years between albums Alberich has grown more nuanced, creating atmosphere and tension on par with Silent Servant’s classic Negative Fascination LP in regards to production and attention to detail.

Listen to the lead single, ‘Unity House’, now. Lapke recently contributed an exclusive track under his Alberich alias to Vatican Shadow’s Berghain mix. Aside from his releases as Alberich, which include the 2011 EP Psychology Of Love and the cassette-only release Precursor, Lapke is best known for his production and mastering work for artists such as Prurient, The Haxan Cloak and Nothing.
