Their first album as a duo (Sunahara had left to pursue lounge-ish solo albums), DG create a thick stew of dance beats and vocals, and since the album is called Voxxx, explore the human voice with much electronic manipulation. On the single "Nothing's Gonna Change," vocoder voices chant and loop over a Moroder-esque beat; on "The Homerun Tiger in a Bush," call-and-response from a live rally is cut up and scratched mercilessly. On the other hand, the album is much too long, with obvious filler.
