Although 1983 was released first as the debut album under the Coppice Halifax moniker, the majority of Coppice Halifax was actually recorded earlier than the 1983 sessions.

Brian Grainger (aka Coppice Halifax), is an artist who no needs introduction, with assets of many Albums/Releases published on his own label (Milieu) and under various monikers, Brian manages every time to surprise their fans with his sophisticated atmospheres. album was recorded in 2015 directly at Botany Bay (Columbia), and took about a year to be released.
