Out along wooden boards stretching onward Clutching poles, the masses stepping forward We'll march on our sunburnt shadows Under waves of swirling wild flamingoes Singing.

Album · 2013 · 12 Songs. Sunburnt Shadows Polygon Palace.

Polygon Palace has made an exceptional album with Sunburnt Shadows. It had everything I appreciate in an album and is undoubtedly going to be one of the most underrated releases this year. Always a live favourite, and known to some of you via an early version of the track which featured in the ABC series Twentysomething, the album version has had vocals re-recorded at the home studio of the legendary Julian Mendelsohn (Pet Shop Boys, INXS, Paul McCartney, Kate Bush et al). It is now being released with two remixes, having been given a dancefloor reworking by G8C (UK) and a 2-step twist by Ryan Butler (UK).

Tokyo Getaway EP by Polygon Palace, released 17 February 2010 1. Tokyo Getaway 2. Tokyo Getaway (CSK OK Remix) 3. Tokyo Getaway (Cryptonites Remix) 4. Tokyo Getaway (Wild Turkeys Remix) 5. Tokyo Getaway (Tornado Wallace Remix) All you wanted to do was get away from here For all I know you're always going to feel the same All this crowd would rather belong Than make a break from here Oh, I've never been one to see that way Incidently I read something that might be of interest to you You can only hear it if you promise not say a word We can only do this if you won't tell anybody . .Got it. + add. album.

Electronic, Pop - Melbourne, VIC. Followers. In a desperate bid to flog the remaining merch, the duo set aside their differences to produce an epic album of leftfield electropop: Polygon Palace's 'Sunburnt Shadows', their last hope for escape. Polygon Palace – 'Sunburnt Shadows' out now on Escapade Records.

Real Name: Gabriel Crossan and Adam Ferns. Sunburnt Shadows ‎(12xFile, Album). Escapade Records (2). ER-PP04.

Melbourne's Polygon Palace may just have the funniest bio that I have a read in a while, stating that the duo originally broke up to begin rival K-Pop bands - hilarious, right? Jokes aside, it turns out this electronic duo can produce some pretty darn good music as well. Pick Up The Pieces" comes off their debut album Sunburnt Shadows and captures many elements of a young Cut Copy. It's definitely vibrant piece, and the warped electronics are just so nostalgic for some odd reason. Free download from their SoundCloud!
