Dah-Veed is Austin's own David Garza. He went by this name for his mid-1990's albums "Culture Vulture" and "Blind Hips in Motion", presumably to clarify to all the misinformed music pundits the correct way of pronouncing his first name. Garza made some fantastic music during his Dah-Veed years.
