Until Drake dropped it as an album it was being hinted at as a mixtape. The running theory right now is that Drake dropped this as an album at the last minute to fulfill his four album contract with Cash Money Records. This way he can leave, when Lil Wayne eventually sorts out his lawsuit with CMR, and it is assumed leaves the label. It is also believed that the album Views From the 6 will still be released by Drake at a later date
The Classics Classics IV, (Classics Four,) or (Classics 4) Classics IV Featuring Dennis Yost Dennis Yost & Classics IV Dennis Yost & The Classics IV. Detroit-born, Florida-raised, Dennis Yost came from a Jacksonville-area band called The Echoes. He was just old enough to remember '50s R&B when it was current. Although they're considered a late-'60s phenomenon, owing to the chronology of their hits, the group can trace its roots back to R&B harmony, such as the doo wop music of the late '50s. One song from the album, entitled "Stormy,"24 was given a single release and suddenly in the fall of 1968, the group was back in the Top Five, with the song peaking at and for the first time, they made the "Easy Listening" charts (see note 4).
On the newly reissued 1974 live album It's Too Late To Stop Now, Van Morrison discovers his peak as a performer. Too Late has been reissued along with a box set of previously unreleased gigs (Volumes II, III, and IV) along with a DVD portraying a fraction of one of his shows at the Rainbow Theatre; none of the recordings overlap with the original album. What the newly issued concerts reveal is the night-to-night dynamic of Morrison and his then-band, a group of 11 musicians called the Caledonia Soul Orchestra.

Drake’s surprise album release might be a stopgap, but it offers plenty to love with its fresh and fabulous experimental beats. On Thursday night, Drake did what is increasingly becoming known as a Beyoncé and dropped, without warning, If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late, the album that fans were expecting to be Views From the 6. That album is still mooted to be coming out later this year. Meanwhile, the follow-up to 2013’s Nothing Was the Same is this 17-track – that’s 17 tracks, not 10 tracks and seven skits – collection, with much of the production courtesy of Drake mainstays Noah 40 Shebib and Matthew Jehu Samuels aka Boi-1da.
