Led Zeppelin at the Knebworth Festival, on August 11th, 1979.

The Knebworth Festival 1979 consisted of two concerts performed by the English rock band Led Zeppelin and other artists at Knebworth House, Hertfordshire, England, in August 1979. The grounds of Knebworth House near the village of Knebworth had been a major venue for open air rock and pop concerts since 1974. In 1979, veteran promoter Freddy Bannister booked Led Zeppelin to play that year's concerts, which took place on 4 August and 11 August.

Led Zeppelin a splendid creation of which if anything listeningmore so and I have a duty not to dissimilar a role of a missionary to show the light and to Follow. PS Brother's name Robert Anthony Ceciliato. I seen zeppelin at knebworth. April 19, 2009 - 8:40am - Name Steve Stark (not verified). Strategically, what was to become their final studio album, In Through The Out Door, was a more synthesiser-led affair that was mostly bereft of the heroic guitar solos for which Page had become famous. Now here's the catch: Phoenix's Knebworth 1979 offers slightly better sound quality than either of Raven's two-LP sets. Not that this double-LP isn't listenable; the sound isn't great, but it isn't terrible either.

Led Zeppelin are widely considered one of the best 70s bands and one of the best rock bands of all time. Led Zep formed in the UK in the late '60s, with a lineup consisting of Robert Plant on vocals, Jimmy Page on guitar, John Paul Jones on bass, and John Bonham on the drums. Tragically, the band's future was cut short in 1980, when Bonham died of an accidental alcohol overdose leading to inhalation of vomit. This Led Zeppelin discography is ranked from best to worst, so the top Led Zeppelin albums can be found at the top of the list.

Led Zeppelin is the debut album by English rock band Led Zeppelin. It was released on 12 January 1969 in the United States and on 31 March in the United Kingdom by Atlantic Records. The album was recorded in September and October 1968 at Olympic Studios, London, shortly after the band's formation. It contains a mix of original material worked out in the first rehearsals, and remakes and rearrangements of contemporary blues and folk songs

Led Zeppelin II starts off with Whole Lotta Love, the best song on the album; then goes to What Is And What Should Never Be, the second best on the album. Third is The Lemon Song, which has one of, if not THE best bass solo in classic rock. Fourth is Thank You, one of the more mellow and beautiful songs on the album. This is the only Zeppelin album where I don't feel the need to skip a single track on it any time I listen to it. On the debut I would skip Black Mountain Side. On III, I would skip most of the second side.
