The excellent resulting album, Idlewild South, was named after the ranch where Betts lived and the band sometimes rehearsed. It contained the love-is-everywhere anthem Revival, Gregg’s acoustic blues Midnight Rider and In Memory of Elizabeth Reed, an elegant Betts instrumental.
