Putting it Straight" starts off with the speeding mammoth, shiny metallic freight train that is "Life in London. PT's last word on the punk scene that was consuming London at the time. Fast, hard, & metallic, "Life in London" is a juggernaut stomping on the lifeless corpse that punk would be in a couple of years  . Huge fan of Pat Travers! Always loved his hard driving sound and bad ass guitar playing! I had this album on 8 track.

Putting it Straight is a hard rock music album recording by PAT TRAVERS released in 1977 on CD, LP/Vinyl and/or cassette. Overall then Putting It Straight is the least essential of Pat Travers seventies albums despite containing two classic tracks. Fortunately following album Heat In The Street was a great return to form and regarded by many as his strongest album ever.
