Extra Tracks, Remastered. Jeff Buckley was a prolific singer/songwriter, always striving for perfection. He would record many of his songs in various styles. Here's what they say about Jeff Buckley: "He died too young. Here's why they say it: Grace is simply one of the most amazing things you can do with your ears and a little digitally-encoded disc. He inherited the voice of his father, the legendary Tim Buckley-seven octaves, each of them only just enough to cram his big feverish dreams into-but his music was all his own.

Jeff Buckley’s debut album, Grace, has been heralded by many journalists and musicians as one of the best albums of the ’90s. Today, 10 years later, Jeff’s music continues to inspire and influence fellow musicians, artists and fans around the globe.

Jeff Buckley was a diva. And a particularly fanciful one at that. Jeff Buckley – Grace. Release date: 23rd August 1994. Born with a voice to die for, his audacious debut Grace made him one of the most popular alternative artists of the ’90s, accentuated by his early and tragic death in 1997. Buckley’s cover of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah virtually redefined the song for a modern audience. Jeff Buckley was born in California’s Orange County on November 17, 1966 and spent a lonely, insecure childhood and adolescence being dragged from West Coast city to western village and farm by a mother filled with an insatiable wanderlust.
