Tweez is one of those albums that nobody mentions yet the band that released it is famous for releasing a classic album. While I admit that Spiderland is a much more consistent and well composed then Tweez that doesn’t mean that this is not an album worth your money. Slint created something new when they released Tweez and you can’t really put it under any genre of music. It blends together punk, indie, math-rock, and even some minor post-rock elements make their way into the music.
Tweez is the debut studio album by American rock band Slint. It was originally released on the label Jennifer Hartman Records in 1989 as the only record put out by the label, which was run by their friend and namesake, Jennifer Hartman. It is also the only Slint album to feature bassist Ethan Buckler. The album was reissued by Touch and Go Records in 1993 after the group's follow-up, Spiderland, began to generate a cult following.
Tweez is a fine, if bizarre recording, often switching from bass-led rhythm to rhythm in the same song. The guitars are harsh, but not especially fast. Instead of singing, bits of dialogue, sound effects, and spoken lyrics are used.

The untitled EP is the final release by the American band Slint. Recorded in 1989 prior to the release of the band's debut album, it remained unreleased until 1994, after the band had broken up. The songs featured on the EP were recorded in the spring of 1989 with Steve Albini, who engineered Slint's first studio album. The album contains a previously unreleased song, "Glenn", and a reinterpretation of the song "Rhoda" from Tweez.
