Novak is the brainchild of Maximillian Ho. It's essentially a paean to his life-long love for 90's British rock'n'roll bands, especially Oasis, The Verve, Ride and Suede.

Profile: Novak were a band from Birmingham and existed from 1995 to 1999. Members were: David Gerrard (keyboards, percussion) Jeremy Hepburn (guitar) Kirsten Morley (bass) Philip Robinson (drums) Jane Smith (guitar) Tamsin Snell (flute, harmonica etc) Adele Williams (vocals, glockenspiel).
