Aftershock ‎(LP, Album). Track Record Company. This isn't a stellar album, but it has its moments, mostly provided by electro-fun pioneer producer John Robie's production, which recalls that complex, clean Scritti Politti 80s polish. Standouts are the title track, The Spirit of Love (with background vocals by Chaka Khan), and I'll Get Over You, which sounds like a single, but never was.

The Average White Band were down to a trio consisting of singer/bassist Alan Gorrie, guitarist/singer Onnie McIntyre, and saxophonist Roger Ball on Aftershock, the band's first new album in six years. The threesome brought in a lot of session players, however, starting with Alex Ligertwood, who sang on three songs, and Elliot Lewis, who handled keyboards and programming, and including such friends as Chaka Khan and the Ohio Players

Aftershock is the tenth album by the R&B band Average White Band. However, the band and Stockwell split and the album was not released. Geoff Downes, who had previously worked with Alan White in Yes, joined in April 2005 and the entire album was re-recorded, re-working songs from New Day and adding new material. @" is a studio album by John Zorn and Thurston Moore. It is the first collaborative album by the duo and was recorded in New York City in February, 2013 and released by Tzadik Records in September 2013.
