URGH! a Music War was first a film and double LP soundtrack. It was released back in 1982, when I was first getting my feet wet in British and American post-punk music. The film itself is great, showcasing a variety of acts all under the loose umbrella of "New Wave" from the power-pop of the Police, the Go-Go's, and XTC, to the electro musings of Gary Numan, and the totally uncatagorizable, sadly missed and WAY ahead of his time Klaus Nomi.
