At First Sight is conceived, written and produced for Axis Records. All compositions were recorded at The Spider Formation, Chicago. This album in many ways sums up my perception of Jeff Mills's sound and ranks alongside my other favourite album of his being 'The Other Day'. Perhaps, a significant proportion of those people who are into the harder, rhythmic 'Bells' type tracks just don't walm to this more cerebrally stimulating style. Personally, I love both
