The Loved Ones are a punk band based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Founded in late 2003, the band consists of Dave Hause (lead vocals, guitar), David Walsh (guitar), Chris Gonzalez (bass/guitar), Michael Cotterman (bass) and Mike Sneeringer (drums). They are presently signed to Fat Wreck Chords. The band never officially disbanded. But in addition to members doing other projects, the band had little activity from 2010 through 2016, when they went on a ten-year anniversary tour.

No Love Lost opens with hard-drinking Lloyd bellowing the line ¦. I was as dry as a dead nuns cunt in the desert. It’s a cracker, and a shocker. There’s a great thesis waiting to be writ about how he uses the minutiae and poverty of everyday life, the dark neurosis of the middle-aged male to construct a critique of his own obsessions and of class, sex and existence in the 21st Century UK. The conclusion would quite possibly be that There are some really funny lines but you can never work out WTF he is on about . What makes this album and the current line-up extra special is a unique combination of ages. Lloyds and Apperley are into their 50’s and Fliss and Matt in their early twenties. The bass-player somewhere in the middle I guess.

It's funny how money change a situation Miscommunication lead to complication My emancipation don't fit your equation I was on the humble, you on every station Some wan' play young Lauryn like she dumb But remember not a game new under the sun Everything you did has already been done I know all the tricks from Bricks to Kingston

This special song reminds us that we will see our loved ones again. One day, we will all be reunited together in Heaven and what a glorious day that will be, indeed. There will be no more suffering or pain. We will live out our eternal life with our Father and Creator. This emotional song truly resonates with so many around the world and it definitely touched a special place in my heart. It's never easy to lose a loved one. Even though we know they are in a better place, it's still difficult to deal with such a big hole in our heart. It isn't easy to say goodbye But I know it's only for a little while Run up ahead and I will catch up 'Cause I'm gonna see you when tomorrow comes On the other side On the other side".

There are times, however, when we are forcefully separated from our loved ones. Coping with loss can be one of the most difficult things we ever have to do. Everyone copes with grief differently, and some of us never do. When we lose someone we love, it distorts our universe and our peace, and nothing seems right. There is a future that will never exist and a past that we want to go back to, and we feel like we can’t be further from the present moment and reality. Our loved ones change, life changes, and we have to change too. Nothing is actually lost in the universe. Everything is energy and energy is never lost. My friend might not be a part of the material world anymore, he might not be a person in the sense of a human being, but he is a part of the world somehow. I don’t know how, but I know he is.
