WS2014 Gm4: Carlos Santana and his son, Salvador, perform the national anthem.

Salvador Santana was born in 1983 in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is an instrumentalist whose main instrument is the electronic keyboard. He sings and is a spoken word artist, songwriter and composer. He is the son of ten-time Grammy winning guitarist Carlos Santana and Deborah Santana. His maternal grandfather, Saunders King, is an icon of American blues and his paternal grandfather, Jose Santana, is a violinist and mariachi bandleader.

Illuminations is a 1974 collaboration between Alice Coltrane and Carlos Santana. Jazz musicians Jules Broussard, Jack DeJohnette and Dave Holland also contributed to the record, on saxophone, flute, drums and bass. Alice Coltrane performs on harp, piano, and Wurlitzer organ and arranged and conducted the string section

Keyboardist and composer Salvador Santana's vibrant music mixes hip-hop, funk, rock, Latin and other world idioms into a uniquely individual and totally contemporary style. The audio book version of the title features music that Salvador and Carlos composed together; previously, they collaborated on composing the GRAMMY-winning track El Farol from the smash 1999 Santana album Supernatural. SSB’s current line-up features Salvador Santana on keyboard and vocals, Emerson Cardenas on bass, Woody Aplanalp on guitar and vocals, Tony Austin on drums, Quincy McCaray on vocals and back up keyboard and former Ozomatli player Jose Crunchy Espinosa on sax, flute, percussion and vocals

Carlos Santana audio (help·info) (born July 20, 1947) is a Mexican and American guitarist who rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, Santana, which pioneered a fusion of rock and roll and Latin American jazz. Its sound featured his melodic, blues-based lines set against Latin and African rhythms played on percussion instruments such as timbales and congas not generally heard in rock. She is the daughter of late blues singer and guitarist Saunders King. They have three children: Salvador, Stella and Angelica. Santana and McLaughlin recorded an album together, Love, Devotion, Surrender (1973) with members of Santana and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, along with percussionist Don Alias and organist Larry Young, both of whom had made appearances, along with McLaughlin, on Miles Davis' classic 1970 album Bitches Brew.

On this, his fourth Carlos Santana release, the line between a "solo" and a "group" project is blurred; this record is really a catchall of Santana band outtakes and stray tracks. For example, included are an instrumental version of "Deeper, Dig Deeper" from Freedom, and an alternate take of "Hannibal" from Zebop!, as well as "Now That You Know" from the group's 1985 tour.

Growing resentments between Santana and Michael Carabello over lifestyle issues resulted in his departure on bad terms. James Mingo Lewis was hired at the last minute as a replacement at a concert in New York City. David Brown later left due to substance abuse problems. She is the daughter of the late blues singer and guitarist Saunders King. Together with wife Deborah, Santana founded a not-for-profit organization, the Milagro Foundation, which provides financial aid for educational, medical, and other needs. Spiritual journey In 1972, Santana became a huge fan of the pioneering fusion band The Mahavishnu Orchestra and its guitarist John McLaughlin. The 1983 album revisited Santana's early musical experiences in Tijuana with Bo Diddley's "Who Do You Love" and the title cut, Chuck Berry's "Havana Moon".

A five year gap ensued until the next Devadip album. It was not a gap of silence, by any means, with several new configurations of the Santana group and stabs at regaining commercial acceptance with songs such as "Dance Sister Dance" and a cover of The Zombies' "She's Not There. Gone are the lengthy and often meandering tracks of the first Devadip album, and Santana explores many avenues of expression, including live songs, acoustic songs, R&B, rock, and muscular fusion influenced by Weather Report's Mysterious Traveller.
