2gether" is a song from The New Power Generation's album Goldnigga. The track was released as a maxi-single containing several remixes of the song to promote the album in 1993. The track was included in the compilation album also called 1-800-NEW-FUNK in 1994. This album was distributed via traditional methods, although it is now out of print and somewhat rare itself. It quickly became his most critically and commercially successful release, spending 24 consecutive weeks atop the Billboard 200, after releasing the albums Around the World in a Day and Parade, The Revolution disbanded, and Prince released the double album Sign o the Times as a solo artist. He released three solo albums before debuting the New Power Generation band in 1991.

Exodus (The New Power Generation album). Exodus is the second studio album by the New Power Generation.
