Brett Ewels (born September 15, 1990), best known by his stage name Louis La Roche, is a French house/nu-disco/funk producer, remixer and DJ from Norwich, UK. Louis La Roche sprung to prominence in 2008 with his Michael Jackson sampled debut track Love (which was originally mistaken for Daft Punk) and featured on an unofficial five-track EP entitled "The Peach EP" (2008). The track quickly made an impact across online blogs and led to recognition via an article by British newspaper The Guardian.

Louis La Roche (aka Brett Ewels) is a DJ, remixer and producer from Norwich, U. I was spending a lot of time worrying about what Louis La Roche was, is and could be. Originally I wanted the album title to be ‘Too Many Sleepless Nights’, as I spent many nights wondering if this career was still right for me. Was I done? Finished? Maybe it was time to finally kill off the Louis La Roche name 17 was in full swing, I’d finished the album. It was my final push, to see if I still had it in me. I had already released the the lead single ‘All I Had’ in late 2016, and it didn’t initially get picked up or have a buzz around it.
