The Dukes of Hazzard is the original soundtrack from the television series The Dukes of Hazzard. It should not be confused with the motion picture soundtrack with almost the same name. Released originally in 1981 then re-released in 2005 on compact disc, it includes the theme to the show and one of Schneider's best hits "In the Drivers Seat". Daredevil: The Album is the soundtrack album for the 2003 film Daredevil, released on March 4, 2003 by Wind-up Records for the movie Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck. The Dukes of Hazzard was an American action-comedy television series that aired on CBS from January 26, 1979, to February 8, 1985. The show aired for a total of 147 episodes spanning seven seasons. The series was inspired by the 1975 film Moonrunners, which was also created by Gy Waldron and had many identical or similar character names and concepts.

Production of the Dukes of Hazzard began in November 1978, originally with the intention to produce just nine episodes. The first five episodes were filmed in Covington, Georgia, and surrounding areas.
