Everybody knows Klaus Schulze is behind Wahnfried. I admit the last piece is great. All the best ideas were taken from the previous tracks and played together in a soft atmosphere. It brought me almost an ecstatic quarter of an hour. This is perhaps the word which could come closest to describing what's going on in Klaus Schulze's latest Wahnfried collaborative effort. Unlike the previous Wahnfrieds. this release is very much more subtle. The rhythm is still there but it's slower, gentler, even pastoral at times, showing off the artistic talents of the co-workers. Klaus "Richard Wahnfried" Schulze does his best to make the mix balanced, and allow the ideas of the others to come to the fore.

Klaus Schulze (born 4 August 1947) is a German electronic music pioneer, composer and musician. He also used the alias Richard Wahnfried. He was briefly a member of the bands Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, and The Cosmic Jokers before launching a solo career consisting of more than 60 albums released across five decades.
