Metric has been around for a long time, and Fantasies is the album that drew me in the hardest. From "Gold Girls Guns" to "Stadium Love," it placed Metric firmly in the category of female singing bands that could kick ass. Synthetica deviated from that a little, but it was still fantastic. Now, Pagans is missing something, and I think that something is the guitar driven sound and fury that made me love the band so much.
