2008 live album by Lau. Live. John McCusker, who produced the album, harangued me about it. I was playing with Kate Rusby, filling in for Ian Carr, she got me to do a song in the set. Tom Rose at Reveal Records asked if I wanted to do a record, it all went from there. A live DVD was released 28 July 2008, featuring Drever's "Classic Album" set at 2008's Celtic Connections. In January 2010, Drever released his second solo album, Mark the Hard Earth, during Celtic Connections.

Scots trio Lau attracted a lot of attention with their studio debut, and this live follow-up shows they can certainly deliver the goods. It does, though, highlight their strengths as well as their weaknesses. They're at their best instrumentally, with fiddle and accordion in particular absolutely superb, ducking and diving together or around each other.
