The Rods are an American hard rock band formed in 1980 by David "Rock" Feinstein (guitar and vocals), Steven Starmer (bass guitar and vocals), who was later replaced by Garry Bordonaro (bass and vocals) after the first two albums, and Carl Canedy (drums and vocals).

The Rods: Brotherhood of Metal 2019 Steamhammer/SPV. This album makes me happy Rods album. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Brotherhood of Metal. But man, this is classic Rods all the way through. This is an album that I actively enjoy listening to. Just crank it up and let it loose. A lot of the songs on here have the feeling of The Rods in the 80’s. But it’s organic, not an attempt to cash in on or duplicate a particular sound.
